We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing practices. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality releases.
Design, write, and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Conduct API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, test data).
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
Support UAT, staging, and production deployments with smoke and sanity testing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
[1–5]+ years of experience in QA or software testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case creation.
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Basic knowledge of SQL and backend testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
Mobile app testing experience (e.g., Appium).
ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools or environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of security or accessibility testing.
